Hello members! Many BNC Mitchells where retrofitted to reflex viewing as the motion picture industry became obsessed with looking through the taking lens as the film was being exposed. Being familiar with the excellent Mitchell parallax correction system, I'm not sure I see what all the hype was about to mass convert the vast majority of the BNC model. But convert they did and now as we know, it is rare to find an untouched BNC that was not reflexed by the secondary market.

The leader of reflex conversions seems to be F&B Celco but there were others as well. Below is a brochure that I'm sure many camera departments where very familiar with. Please feel free to add your experiences with the reflex Mitchell craz.

One thing that there is no argument about is that you knew F&B Celco did the reflex conversion by taking one quick look. How many F&B Celco name plate/stickers can you spot?
