No. Crosshairs are engraved on the center of the finder ground glass. The adjustable framing ribbon are different.

In Both the 16mm and the 35mm finders the ribbons go edge to edge from center in horizontal and vertical.

Re: Did Twentieth Century-Fox Use BNCs to Film Pictures in CinemaScope?

Focus does not matter much how the image appears. It would still be looking at a squeezed image that is still in or out of focus. Lenses also have very finely calibrated distance measurements engraved on them. Common practice was to also check focus with a tape measure that attached to a external ho...

Re: More questions about my camera with pictures

Greg, Thanks for the registration.. It should show up in the listings soon. Your certificate should be sent to you within a few days. Also, thanks for the front shot. It is definitely a standard BNCR lens mount. The Panavision and Technivision markings made it possible that the mount might have been...

Re: Mitchell BNCR 103

Thanks for the new pix. Was wondering about the pan-tilt head. I have a O'Connor 150 head supporting a full dressed out Arri 35 blimp but have hesitated to put the BNCR on it. I had a person in India searching for info on the camera but the Covid19 lockdown there stopped the effort for now. Stay saf...
